Car Insurance Porsche (Car Insurance). Can any speedometer fit my 02 honda? Can any speedometer fit my 02 honda? I just bought 2002 honda civic, but I hate the color of the speedometer. It is white and I really can't see the numbers when I drive in the day light. I like the 03 honda civic speedometers which are black, but I realize they look completely different. I am not sure if it is possible to put the 03 into the 02? Any suggestions and how will this affect the mileage on the digital reader? Thanks!!! If your car is an automatic, this should help.... Porsche . How to Change a Fuel Filter on a 2000 BlazerThe fuel filter replacement process on the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer is easy once you know where to start. The fuel filter on the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer filters out the sediments from the fuel before the fuel reaches the engine. The fuel comes out of the gas tank and goes into the fuel filter. Then the fuel filter cleans the fuel and releases the fuel out of the exit port of the fuel filter. From there the clean fuel goes to the engine. You can replace the fuel filter on the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer in 30 to 45 minutes. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Open-end wrenches Fluid catch pan Flat-head screwdriver New fuel filter Step by Step : 1 Unscrew the gas cap from the gas tank to relieve the fuel pressure from the fuel filter. 2 Locate the fuel filter under the driver side of the truck. The fuel filter will be in a round bracket that is running inside of the frame rail on the driver side between the gas tank and the cab of the truck. 3 Slide the catch pan under the fuel filter and remove the screw on line on the inlet side of the fuel filter. Remove this line with an open-end wrench. Let the excess fuel run into the catch pan. 4 Remove the fuel line from the outlet port of the fuel filter. This line can be removed by squeezing the plastic clips on the front of the fuel line together. Once you squeeze the plastic clips together, the fuel line will unlock from the outlet port of the fuel filter. Then pull the fuel line straight off of the outlet fuel port and let the excess fuel run into the catch pan. 5 Remove the clamp that is holding the fuel filter in place with a regular flat head screwdriver. Turn the screw counterclockwise to loosen the bracket. Then slide the fuel filter out of the bracket and discard it into the catch pan. 6 Slide the new fuel filter into the bracket with the flow arrow on the fuel filter pointing toward the engine. Tighten the clamp back down across the fuel filter. 7 Screw the inlet fuel line onto the fuel filter with an open-end wrench. Tighten the fuel line down tightly. 8 Slide the outlet fuel line onto the fuel filter until you feel the plastic clips lock in place. Gently pull back on the fuel line to ensure that the line is locked in place. 9 Screw the gas cap back on the gas tank. Turn the ignition key on and off three times to prime the fuel filter with fuel. Crank the engine. Step by Step : 10 Inspect the fuel filter and fuel lines for leaks while the engine is running. Then shut the engine off. Tips & Warnings The fuel filter on the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer can be accessed without using ramps. The flow arrow on the fuel filter represents the direction of the fuel flow. The flow arrow has to be pointing toward the engine or the truck will not crank. Always wear safety glasses when working around fuel. Resources2 Car Pros: Chevy Blazer Car Repair Questions and Answers
Porsche . How to Change the Fuel Filter on an F-150If your Ford F-150 begins to show a loss of power, poor performance or a rough running engine, it may be a sign that the fuel filter may need to be changed out. Modern F-150 trucks come with a fuel filter that has a self locking connector built in. All you need to do is push one on a fuel line to secure it, with no clamping involved. However, getting it off is another matter entirely, and for that task, you'll need a specialized tool. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Fuel line separator tool-- Model number K-D 3321, available at auto parts stores or Ford dealerships Fuel filter--Available as above Screwdriver--Either a Phillips or a flat blade with a small head Step by Step : 1 Open the hood of your F-150 and locate the fuel line. On the line will be what is known as a "Schrader valve." It will look very much like a standard tire valve, and the center stem needs to be depressed to release the pressure from the fuel lines. This can be done with a small screwdriver, either a flat blade of a Phillips will work. Once the valve has been pushed to allow the pressure to release, you can continue on to Step 2. 2 Locate the fuel filter which be be under the drivers side frame rail near the front of the fuel tank. 3 Remove the safety clasp on one side of the fuel line by squeezing the sides and pulling it off. Although new fuel filters come with safety clasps, the old ones can be re-used if desired. 4 Push the separator tool onto the male end of the fuel filter and slide it up and into the female end. This will release the connector from the fuel line, and the line can be pulled off and away. Expect some leakage from the filter, but this can be halted by removing the end sealing caps from the new filter and pushing one onto the old one. 5 Repeat that procedure with the other side of the fuel filter, and once disconnected, pull it out and away. 6 Push the new fuel filter into the exact same place as the old one, while connecting it up to the fuel lines by pushing on the connectors. The connectors will literally snap into place when pushed on firmly. Tips & Warnings Never smoke when working with fuel lines, and always wear goggles to protect your eyes from leaking or dripping gasoline. *own. If you don't have an owner's manual, ask your car dealer to get one for you or to tell you where you can get one. Service manuals are also available for every vehicle, and I strongly suggest that you get one of these as well. Every auto repair facility cannot stock a service manual for each year, make, and model of every vehicle, and if you lend your service manual to an inde pendent service facility that is working on your car, you can save money by reducing the time it would take them to figure out the proper way to repair it. Also, if you get to the point where you want to do more than basic repairs, one of these manuals will be indispensable. The drawings in service manuals show you where every little screw and washer fits so that you won't end up 230

What Makes It Start) Although people tend to think that most vehicles are totally powered by gasoline, many parts — the radio, headlights, clock, and so on — actually function on electricity. Of course, you could get along without these devices if you had to, but did you know that it also takes electricity to get your car to start? An ignition system works in conjunction with your car's electrical system to provide the power that allows your starter to make your engine turn over. Once your engine turns over, it can begin to run on gasoline, just as you expected it to. The following is a blow-by-blow explanation of what happens when you start a car. Most vehicles still have traditional gasoline-powered engines; if yours doesn't, you can find information about alternatively powered vehicles in Chapter 7. To get the most from this chapter, take the book out to your vehicle and try to Porsche . Can you get a car tag for your written off vehical?
